Audit

Caryl Fenton, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), has over thirty-eight years’ experience in the accountancy profession in Jamaica, of which the last twenty-five years have been as a Partner. She has considerable experience in the audit of insurance entities and public utilities. Caryl is a former chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and formerly represented that body on the Council of the Jamaica Stock Exchange. A Board member of KPMG Caricom, Caryl is Head of Audit for the regional governance entity and the Jamaican member firm.

Tarun Handa, FCA (Jamaica), FCA (India), CPA (USA), BA (Hons) Economics joined KPMG in Jamaica in 1987 and became Managing Partner in 2008. He has combined public accounting experience in Jamaica and India exceeding twenty-two years. He is very familiar with accounting for business combinations and international reporting requirements involving US and UK GAAP. His audit experience includes financial institutions, the manufacturing sector, telecommunications, public utilities and hospitality and tourism. A Board member of KPMG Caricom, Tarun is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Markets for the regional governance entity.

Patrick Chin, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), has over thirty-seven years’ experience in the accountancy profession. He is a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica, where he serves as Treasurer and as chair of its Editorial and Bye-Laws & Handbook Committees

Patricia Dailey-Smith, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), CPA, BSc (Hons), Management Studies (UWI), has over thirty-two years’ professional accounting experience with KPMG. Her audit experience includes hospitality and tourism, manufacturing and finance. She is Chairman of the firm’s Professional Development Committee.

Linroy Marshall, FCA (Jamaica), MSc Accounting (UWI), BSc (Hons) Management Studies (UWI), has over twenty-eight years’ professional accountancy experience with KPMG in Jamaica and in Buffalo, New York. His audit experience includes financial services, hospitality and not-for-profit organisations. Linroy is a past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.


Cynthia Lawrence, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), has over twenty-one years experience in the accountancy profession. Cynthia heads the firm’s Professional Practice Committee, and serves as a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica. She leads the firm’s International Financial Reporting Standards resource team.

Rajan Trehan, FCA (India), B.Com, joined the firm in 1994. Rajan is also registered as a Certified Public Accountant with the Colorado State Board in the United States of America. His audit experience includes financial services, telecommunications, as well as manufacturing and distribution.

Nigel R. Chambers, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), MBA (Distinction) (UK), Nigel joined KPMG in 1992 and became a Principal (Partner equivalent) in 2006. Nigel’s audit experience includes the banking, utilities, manufacturing and insurance sectors.


Tax

Betty Ann Jones, FCA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), BSc, has over thirty-five years’ professional experience in the accountancy profession in Jamaica. She is currently the firm's Senior Partner and is also Partner In-Charge of KPMG’s Tax practice in Jamaica. Betty Ann has served on several public committees dealing with Tax Reform (Personal and Corporate), the elimination of waste in the Public Sector and the development of legislation for Employee Share Ownership Plans. She is Chairman of KPMG Caricom.

Norman Rainford, CA (Jamaica), FCCA (UK), MBA, BSc, joined the firm in 2000, prior to which he was a senior auditor at the Revenue Board of the Government of Jamaica, where he conducted comprehensive audits for income tax, payroll and GCT compliance.


Advisory

Donald Barnett, CISA, MBA (IS) (Canada), B. Eng. & Mgmt. (Canada), has over twenty-five years’ professional experience in the provision of IT Advisory Services in Jamaica. He is the partner in charge of Information Risk Management for KPMG Caricom. Donald's skill sets include information systems governance, IT audits, business process controls review, project risk management, information systems security reviews, requirements analyses and the evaluation of information technology strategies. His industry experience includes public utilities, telecommunications, financial services, government, manufacturing, and transactions processing operations.

Raymond Campbell, FCCA (UK), B.Sc. (Accounting), joined KPMG in 2006 and is Head of Financial Advisory Services for KPMG Caricom. Raymond has eighteen years’ experience in the financial services sector, during which he held managerial positions in the securities and banking industries. Raymond has also served as President of the Jamaica Bankers Association and Chairman of the Jamaica Institute of Bankers.
